Team VS. Club

The team travels (extra cost) and shows horses at surrounding colleges against other Universities. Attending every show is not required and the cost varies depending on the show and the amount of members going. The club does as much as the members want to do. The club doesn't participate in shows. NOTE you do not have to own or have experience with horses to become an active member in the club or team!

What will I need?

If you want to be on the team you should bring any show clothes, boots, cowboy hats, or chaps that you already own. However if you don't have all of the outfit don't panic yet! The team shares and sells clothes to each other. Bring what you have and go from there! The club members really don't need to bring anything except a helmet and boots if you own them and plan to ride. Click the link "Hobby Horse" to browse around and view good show clothes.

Can I bring my horse?

Yes, we do have access to a barn and the fees are very reasonable. However at this point we have more and more people wanting to bring horses and only so many stalls. Thus if you would like to know more about bringing your horse and about stall availability you should contact our sponsor Michelle Allen. You should contact her before you do anything else.
